Research areas:

  • study of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of novel therapeutic preparations, toxicokinetics and toxicodynamics of different toxicants;
  • toxico-hygienic profile determination for the new pesticides;
  • development of new methods of animal intoxication diagnostics;

  • development, improvement and adaptation of methods of detection of toxicants of different origin (pesticides, mycotoxins, inorganic elements, etc.) and medicinal agents (antibiotics, anthelminthic) in biological objects;
  • estimation of the efficiency of the effect of disinfectants of different chemical groups on the test-cultures of mold fungi;
  • monitoring of content of heaty metals (Sr, Br, Se, Pb, Zn, Cu, Ni, Fe, Сo, Mn, Cr, Са) in feeds, biological substrate and medicinal forms by the method of X-ray-fluorescent analysis;
  • investigation of feeds, clinical and pathological materials concerning occurrence of toxicants of different origin (pesticides, mycotoxins, alcaloids, etc.);
  • toxicological monitoring of feeds, fodder additives and objects of animal origin concerning content of mycotoxins, micromycetes, inorganic elements.

Expertise area: toxicology, mycology, quality and safety of products of animal origin.


SECTOR OF HONEY BEE DISEASES

Research areas:

  • monitoring of the spread of especially dangerous honey bee diseases on the territory of Ukraine;
  • diagnostics and differential diagnostics of honey bee parasitogenic diseases (varroosis, acarapidosis, Nosema disease, Amoeba disease, tropilaelapsos, small hive beetle and others);

  • study of biological characteristics of the agents of infectious and parasitogenic honey bee diseases;
  • development of ecologically safe methods and means for bee protection from occurrence and spread of especially dangerous diseases;
  • determination of nonspecific resistance of insect organism with the purpose of disease occurrence forecast;
  • investigation of apiculture products concerning determination of quality and safety (honey, propolis, beeswax, farina, royal jelly, etc.)


Expertise area: viral, bacterial, parasitogenic bee diseases (epizootiology, virology, parasitology, microbiology); quality and safety of apiculture products.
